Frequently asked questions
Getting StartedBookingSafety & EligibilityYour IV AppointmentTreatments & ResultsPayment MethodsGeneral Questions
Who will be providing my treatment?
Your treatment is provided by an experienced registered nurse, not simply someone trained to start an IV. We take the time to review your health history, assess your needs, explain your treatment, and remain with you throughout your infusion—all with medical oversight and established clinical protocols.
Do I need a prescription for IV therapy?
You don’t need to bring a prescription. All treatments are provided under medical oversight and according to our clinical protocols. Before treatment, we’ll review your health history, current medications, symptoms, and goals to make sure IV therapy is appropriate for you.
What is a Good Faith Exam (GFE), and do I need one?
A Good Faith Exam is a brief medical evaluation completed with our medical provider before treatment. It is required for new patients and is repeated every 12 months. The visit is completed via telehealth with one of our nurse practicioners and typically takes just a few minutes.
How do I know which IV to choose?
You don’t have to figure it out on your own! Your nurse will review how you’re feeling, your health history, and what you’re hoping to accomplish. We can help you select an appropriate infusion and available add-ins based on your individual needs.
